Dr. T. D. Singh (His Holiness Bhaktisvarüpa Damodara Swämé) has a unique background. He is a scientist with a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, USA as well as a spiritualist in the Bhaktivedänta tradition of India. He has authored and edited over thirty books on science and religion, including his famous dialogue with Prof. Roger Penrose: Science, Spirituality and Nature of Reality. He is the Founder Director of Bhaktivedanta Institute and has been one of the pioneers in advancing the dialogue between science and religion over past three decades.
Dr. Sudipto Ghosh is a professor in the department of metallurgical and materials engineering at IIT Kharagpur. Computational material science and advance energy storage materials are his prime research areas. He has taught wide varieties of courses including physics of materials, atomistic modelling, and computational material science. Since 1995, he was trained in the fi eld of science–spirituality by Dr. T. D. Singh. Under his inspiration and guidance, Professor Ghosh has also signifi cantly contributed to the area of science and spirituality. He is a board member and director (research) of Bhaktivedanta Institute.
